An Unattended Cremation, what the legal price list calls an Unattended Funeral, is a cremation with no funeral service.
We collect the person who has died, care for them, and take them to the crematorium.

Burial instead of cremation adds £880. The cemetery or interment fee is separate and will depend on the cemetery and arrangements chosen.
The crematorium sets the times
The crematorium offers these slots and we book one of them.
Sunderland Crematorium
Unattended Cremation: 8.00am or 8.15am
Simple Cremation: 8.30am or 8.45am
South Shields Crematorium
Unattended Cremation: 8.15am, Monday to Friday
Durham Crematorium
Unattended Cremation: 8.00am, 8.15am or 4.00pm
The funeral usually takes place after the death has been registered, unless the coroner is involved. A coroner is an independent judicial officer who investigates certain deaths, including those that are sudden, unexpected or unexplained.
