Cookies
What this site stores on your device, which is very little.
This site sets cookies only if you say yes to Google Analytics.
It counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics and checks how fast pages load with Vercel Speed Insights. Neither one sets a cookie, and neither one can tell who you are.
Your choices
Your choices. Your browser keeps a note of each one, so you are not asked again. The note stays on your device and is not a cookie.
The technical details
How the statistics work, and what is stored
Vercel Web Analytics records the page you read and the page you came from. It also records your rough location, your type of device, and its browser and system. None of it is tied to you or to your IP address.
Vercel Speed Insights records how quickly each page loaded, and the same kind of device details. Your browser measures the loading time and sends it on.
Vercel runs both for us under a written contract. It uses what it collects only to give us these figures. It is in the United States, and transfers under the UK addendum to the standard contractual clauses.
Google Analytics
We would also like to use Google Analytics, to see which pages help people and which do not. It only runs if you say yes. Until then nothing is sent to Google.
If you say yes, Google Analytics sets two cookies. One is called _ga and the other starts with _ga_. Each lasts up to two years, and they let Google tell a first visit from a return visit.
This site tells Google not to use what it collects for advertising, and not to link it to a Google account. Google may process it outside the UK, including in the United States.
You can change your mind below at any time. Saying no removes the Google Analytics cookies from this site.
Nothing else is loaded from anywhere else unless you ask for it. There is no advertising, no tracking pixel, no social button and no video. Both typefaces are served from this site.
The map on each branch page is provided by Google and may use cookies. It loads only when you press “View our location on Google Maps”.
Your browser keeps its own copy of pages and images so they load faster next time. That is your browser doing its normal job, and we cannot see it.
What happens to anything you send us through this site is in the privacy notice.
