A disclosure of interests sets out who owns a funeral director and what else that firm has a stake in. Every funeral director has to publish one. It is here so you can see who we are connected to before you decide anything.
Who owns this business
Gavin J Reynolds & Son Family Funeral Directors Limited owns and runs both branches. It is registered in England and Wales, company number 10734263, at 78 Sea Road, Fulwell, Sunderland, SR6 9DB. No other company owns it and it is not part of a group.
What we have no interest in
We do not own a crematorium or a cemetery, and we hold no financial interest in one. We hold no interest in any price comparison website.
The businesses we work with
Some of what a funeral needs comes from other firms. Prepaid plans are with Open Prepaid Funerals, headstones and memorials with Scott Memorials, and the motorcycle hearse with Motorcycle Funerals. Where a family asks about probate we name Longden, Walker & Renney, solicitors in Sunderland.
We do not pay or receive referral fees or commission with any of them.
Payments to other people and organisations
We also have to keep a register of certain payments. It records any payment, donation or tip we make to the same person or organisation that comes to £250 or more in a year.
That means a hospital, a hospice, a care home or a similar place connected with funerals, and people working in the same field, such as mortuary staff, grave diggers and chapel attendants.
No payment of that kind is recorded.
